No jokes here. It is never a good idea to make jokes when people has died.
When you look in the news, everything is about swine flu. There is a good reason to fear. Since this disease has just recently jumped from pigs to humans, we have no immunity this and our body does not know how to fight this. This is more dangerous than Sars and bird flu because this can pass from human to human and it passes like the common flu and in addition the mortality rate has be 80%. This is the bug that the WHO has been fearing for years and it is hear.
Ironically, this bug first appeared in Mexico. In the past all these new flu virus starts in Asia. In another bit of irony, asia may be the safest place in the world, particularly Singapore. Asia has been hit hard by SARS and so it has set up infrastructure and procedures to deal with this where US has no such infrastructure. Also with Singapore's relatively small population and with Singapore Government's control of the population, an outbreak can be contained relatively quickly.

More information showed that this flu is treatable, just like any other flu. No one in the U.S. has died from it. The death toll in Mexico is probably due to lack of medical treatment. The media is making everyone panic. The Muslims wants to call it Mexican flu instead since they don't like pigs. People in general need to find something better to do with their time.
As of today, there are 50 confirmed cases in the US and no one has died yet. I think it is over blown too. I mean 50 people out of how many millions. I'll take my chances. Good news is you can't get it from eating port. Mmmmmmm......bacon.....
They just re-routed our Mexican Riveira cruise to S.F., British Columbia and Seattle because of this flu. Oh well, I don't mind but lots of people are very angry.
